Welcome to The Town of Manassa

Announcements: 

• The Town of Manassa, Colorado Department of Transportation and prime contractor, Robins Construction, began an intersection improvement and sidewalk construction project on CO Highway 142 and 5th Street. The project team will install a concrete pathway from CO 142 to Manassa Elementary School along 5th Street that will provide a safe and accessible pedestrian travel route for students, parents and teachers.
• The project team will be asphalt patching on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 1 & 2 along 5th Street and at the CO 142 intersection. There will be intermittent single lane closures on CO 142 with flagging operations while this work takes place. Crews will begin patching preparation work on Friday, September 27, and Monday September 30, in front of the elementary school at the bus drop off. Patching operations will follow on Tuesday and Wednesday in this area as well. Parents and teachers should use the school’s parking lot for pick-up and drop-offs while this work takes place

• The Town of Manassa will be paving 5th Street South from US Hwy 142 to Manassa Elementary school the week of October 7th-11th, 2024.

Upcoming Events

The Town of Manassa has increased their water prices by $3.00 per user per month. This increase in price is intended to offset material and utility increases, and to work on infrastructure improvement and repairs. 

The Town of Manassa will be holding a public forum meeting to discuss upcoming grants, OHV Ordinances, and upcoming grant for the opera house.
